Trying to warm up -

"Minding the Knitting"
manipulated digital drawing by Mick Mather
With almost 4 days in a row of morning frost I'm on a search for gloves, mufflers and sweaters. In tune with said search is today's post and, judging from this mess, nothing new is going to be forthcoming.

Frost!
That's bad...

Your pic looks frosty, I agree, but your skills are not frozen.

Well, we knew that Ol' Jack would be paying visits soon ... we didn't know it would be this soon!

So dark, so dark. I could sink in your pic, it's exciting, Mick!

Hmm ... a knitted nest? Perhaps that would actually be possible using some "found" plastic bags that have blown up into the trees. Clean one part of the environment, turn it into art and install it in another part ... hmm.

It's a joy to see you back here and a delight to know that I've pulled you deeply into this image. :)

Btw, I have a new picture blog. I don't update it very often (I think), but if you are interested...

It IS a knitting, and a warm one.

(No frost here yet, but rain. That's NOT better. I was on the road early in the morning. Driving when it rains and is dark is not very interesting, especially when you're still half asleep. No pictures taken. Maybe in the evening, as I have to drive some 100 miles again. I just hope that the rain stops.)

Thanks, Hélène, but why are you doing so much driving these days? Or do you always drive such long distances?

I'm driving because I can't walk those distances! ;-D
