In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. You will now find MickMathersARTblog at Blog.com - use the direct link found in the masthead and remember to update your bookmarks. This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. In these hard financial times this work is more important than ever and I still accept consultancy inquiries. You can contact me by email at: mickmather@yahoo.com

Oh, the party is on! Helene and Susu are celebrating the Artist. It's a shame Elina had flew away for Easter -well, witches have to.
Pour us some!
susupetal:
Oh yes! The party is in full swing. Clearing away the empty glasses can be Elina's reward for flying away! :D
Yes, that's reasonable(althought I'll help a little and drink straight from the bottle so there won't be too much glasses...yes, I know, but hey! It's party time!)
susupetal:
Rave on, baby! :D
Happy Birthday!!!Mick
lest have a party yes, Happy birthday Mick. A big hug for you from Holland
I'm only aweking - it was a tremendous party.
harlequinpan:
Many thanks for the good Birthday Wishes. :D
trijnie:
Ohhhhhh, the party was fabulous! Drinking, dancing, carousing with friends and a great band! Now, a Birthday Hug from you ... a perfect day! :)
hpy:
It was great party for certain! Nobody quite understood how you were able to sleep through it! :D
Neither do I!
hpy:
LMAO! :D
oyp. happy 2-days-after-your-birthday!
catnapping:
LOL - better late than never. :)
Belated birthday wishes to you. 60 of them! I hope you celebrated accordingly:)
I find it a wee bit eerie that you wrote and end date...can't say I have seen that for an 'alive' person before!
lisa sarsfield:
Yes! That is a bit creepy now that you make me aware of a different meaning for the dating - I was only marking the distance between 60 years as opposed to the finality of it. I suppose I should defer to the Cavellini method of longevity: 1948 - 2048. :D
Ah...here's the proof, you DID have a great birthday!
shani thomas:
LOL - it was a fabulous celebration! Now that I'm close to the end of the comments for this piece I can add that it concluded, the next day, with an appearance by the Easter Bunny! :D
what a coincidence! Happy Birthday Mick!
isay:
